What is crossfit?

CrossFit is the best way to get in shape! It's a programme that combines many techniques that will ensure you never get bored.  Such as, gymnastics, body-weight movements, kettlebells, weight lifting, running and many more.  At its heart is a constant focus on the quality of your movements combined with constantly varied workouts.

who is it for?

For the most part, CrossFitters are busy professionals who work hard and come to our gym to enjoy the best hour of their day.  Many came to us from the couch, having never done any exercise whatsoever, whilst many started CrossFit because they became bored with their normal gym routine. CrossFit embraces any body, any size, any age, and any experience, and provides a friendly and supportive community of like-minded CrossFitters.

Unlike the often repetitive gym routine, CrossFit is a constantly varied form of fitness. This means that every class is different, unpredictable and means that your body is constantly challenged with a variety of movements. CrossFit is perfect for people who get bored easily, and trains both your mind and body to be ready for anything.

CrossFit has a reputation for being an intense exercise programme. Although challenging, every workout is scaled for each individual, to take into account different levels of physical fitness and any limitations. Our goal is to help you get results by pushing you to perform at your highest capacity. This capacity is different for everyone, so we always make sure that every athlete works safely and within their limits.

Meet Anya.

When Anya joined us it was like adopting a jellyfish. She had no form, no position awareness, and almost no strength. Fast forward three months and the coaches now call her, "Strong Anya"! She has improved so much and proven that developing strength can be done by someone who previously only went running. She is determined not to be weak, and now regularly kicks ass and impresses us with her improvements.
